Yes, but you did say you wanted a semi-solid so that is where our advice was going. Defy will be a great stain for this fence.

I bought Defey Extreme semi light walnut off amazon because of one day shipping. Did I make a good choice?

None of the semi-solid stains that you can source at a Big Box or SW store will be any good. AC has the only decent semi-solid on the market today as it is the only one that is oil-based. All the rest are acrylics and will be prone to peeling and we would never use on our customer's decks or fences.

AC is also sold in stores in certain markets. Contact them for help.

Hard to believe I cant source a good stain locally. What do you recommend outside of online only?

SW PPG Valspar Flood ect?

Flood Pro makes a great solid stain but not a good semi-transparent. AC is much better at soaking into the wood grain and final appearance.

What do you think about Flood Pro? I was going to buy Armstrong but I like to buy local vs online. I wanted to start Monday so I don't think I have time to ship it. Pittsburg quoted me $175 5 gal and I am leaning on that.

Fence Stain Recommendations

I have an older fence that I just sanded and power washed. I'm looking for a bold semi solid stain that will protect and pop out. I assume I should use an oil based but wanted to get some opinions on various products you recommend. I used ready seal last year on my play house and was not impressed at the one year mark. I would like something that's going to be more durable as it lost most of it's color.
