Trying to resurrect some old neglected cedar plank piers, and have power washed, stripped, cleaned, rough brushed/sanded, swept, and let dry for 3 days all the sections. This of course removed all the lovely gray patina as well. They are honey tone now. Is there a deep penetrating oil that I can apply that will still allow the aging gray to return?  An oil that is not too tricky too apply, likely will need two coats, that can be over topped whenever it seems to need it and looking dry (after some cleaning). The boards are various conditions, truly aged and weathered, but I am down to solid raw wood for the most part.
