]]> Deck Stain Questions and Answers Scott Paul ~ Restoring Wood & Decks Since 1993 https://forum.deckstainhelp.com/deck-stain-questions-and-answers/clarification-of-defy-deck-stain-instructions/#post-13730 https://forum.deckstainhelp.com/deck-stain-questions-and-answers/clarification-of-defy-deck-stain-instructions/#post-13728 Fri, 23 Apr 2021 21:14:52 +0000 The online product sheet for defy deck extreme says to apply two coats, second coat within 20 minutes and not to let the stain dry out between coats.  So, if it takes me an hour to stain the deck how am I supposed to not let the first part dry out?  If the stain is not dry how am I supposed to stand on the wet stain and apply more stain.  The instructions also say to let dry for 24 hours before walking on the deck, so again how am i supposed to walk on the wet deck to apply second coat?
