hi i was wanting some professional opinions. i live in washington state north of seattle. i am building a western red cedar covered patio. the patio is south facing getting full sun. i am using fullsawn ( rough) for uprights and rafters. it is going to be covered with suntuf solar grey, which will block a lot of the uv rays, but be open on the sides. i was going to buy cedar decking this winter for the deck. will it hurt the rough cedar to sit untreated but covered over winter? i was going to use restore-a-deck in spring and then use a twp100 series stain. thanks for any help
