I have let the deck "rest" for the recommended 90 days and plan to use restore-a-deck to prep it remove mill glaze etc before staining. Usually, (on other decks i have not this one) I use TWP which is awesome. But I would like to stain this deck dark blues color TWP does not offer. I was planning on using Olypic Elite but their midnight blue comes only in "solid" I would like a semi-transparent look.

Can I ix a solid stain with a clear stain to get a more transparent look?
