My goal is to sell my home early next year, 2023. My projects this year include re-staining two cedar porches. They were built about 20 years ago, and have been coated about every 2 years with Cabot Wood Toner, color "Natural". I had been planning to use the Armstong Clark stain, with their RAD cleaning products. Is this a good choice? I would like to restain these porches without any touch-ups before putting my house on the market. Is the Armstong Clark a good choice, or is there something better. Thank you.

AC is a great stain and would work well for this.

Sikkens is pretty good deck stain and is, in general, the type of thing you want -- semi-transparent with enough solids to keep the UV from destroying both the stain and the wood.

But any of them have to be renewed every 2-3 years.

Sikkens used to be good and then they changed the formula and sold it to PPG. Not the same anymore.
