Hi,

I have a pressure treated pine deck that is about 3 years old. Never been stained. Location is South Central Pennsylvania. Deck gets full sun. Mildew does not seem to be a big problem.

Sounds like the most popular recommendation for never treated pine is Timberoil. Would that still be a good idea given the age of the deck? I'm trying to decide between Timberoil, TWP 1500 and Defy. If I go with Timberoil, would I be able to put TWP 1500 or Defy over top of it down the road?

Thanks!
