We had a new pressure treated pine deck put in last summer and are getting ready to clean and stain for the first time. We are in central Virginia, and it is in full sun. The crew that built it used red chalk snap lines to lineup the railing posts (aluminum railing system). I was hoping the chalk lines would weather away. Nope. Any recommendations? We are thinking TWP 1500, so we’re planning to use the TWP cleaner system. Is this likely to take off the chalk? Should we sand it off with 60 grit first? Something else?

Thanks!
