I have a 6 x 14 p0rch, about 20 years old. I have completely sanded off old finishes. It's PT decking. I plan to get/use one of the top stains based on this forum. The question I have is the old nail heads. They are below surface and the hole is filled with the old finishes. Is there an efficient way to clean them out? Should I consider replacing them; they are solid? Will the cleaning process remove the paint? Thanks
