I verified with Trex that it isn't their product. House built in 2006, we are the 3rd owners. Owners number 2 likely did not do maintenance on deck, rails, steps. I am looking to clean and hopefully restore product. (If it is revivable, can/should I stain it in some fashion?) The posts appear to be painted wood in poor shape, can I use products recommended on both the composite and the wood. How low or high should I develop expectations?
