Hi Guys

I installed a new deck with garapa wood. I loved the gold yellow color but i did the mistake to stain with deckwise ipe oil. Bad Choice

After 6 month part of the deck more precisely the one close to the pool (salt pool) has become dark grey color which i hate.

should i sand with orbital sander to remove the stain? and if so which grift for garapa wood would be ok.

another question is which is the best stain that will be the best against salt water pool and protect the natural color from fading for at least one year?

thanks
