Thanks - it is my understanding that the Cabot I have is the old style un-changed oil that isn't allowed to be used in some states due to environmental reasons - ex California. So it is probably the good old stuff and like I said looks stunning and can still be used here in AZ. I remember the paint store telling me about the new formula - and to avoid it. I think my plan will be to use the deck strip/cleaner you folks have recommended on the back - and also use the top rated stuff you have also recommended. But for the front I think I'll ride out the Cabot and re-treat with it until something changes - I can't imagine stripping it - my wife would shoot me. Awesome thanks very much - I thought these were good brands - I have a new trex/redwood deck out front that is treated with Cabot - lovely. I will look into others. With my new deck (Cabot) can I just apply Cabot once a year to keep it looking nice? Give it a quick rinse and dry?
